The first Shropshire pages on the Web This site was the very first Web site dedicated to Shropshire, starting in August 1995 (initially on Turnpike, then on Geocities). In those days, I had more time to do that kind of thing. Now there are many Shropshire resources on the Web, and there is no way I can compete with them or keep all the original pages up to date. So I have cut back and have kept only a few pages of particular interest to me. The pages are a personal selection of information, done purely out of love for my adopted home. They do not represent the views of any other person or organisation. I am keeping these pages simple, so that you can see most of them easily with a modem and an older browser.
